Did you just call me fat!?

You did not just call the pregnant lady fat! Especially a temperamental lady who's 76 feet long and weighs in at almost 40,000 pounds.


    This is Claire Raulerson, a 36 year old North American A-5 Vigilante, who will have an upcoming role in Skyfire. Although she wouldn't take kindly to being called fat while she's almost 8 months pregnant, don't expect her to yell at you. Claire is a mute, unable to speak because of the actions of her first husband, another A-5. In short, her first marriage fell through.

    Born in 1998 and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she's the youngest of three A-5's born to a pair of A-5's who took part in the Vietnam War. Claire has two older brothers, Hunter and Seth. Their family wasn't exactly rich, and life wasn't easy. Nevertheless, with her brothers and parents beside her, they were a happy, rugged family. She was once an excellent singer, the envy of her friends. However, Claire suffers from a mild intellectual disability and a below average IQ. Despite her model being famous for their explosive tempers and grumpy disposition, Claire herself is timid and extremely curious. She sniffs and touches things with her nose that arouse her curiosity, which can make greetings, specially with humans, a little awkward. Even more awkward is the fact she licks individuals, as a sign of trust and affection. Sometimes she forgets the fact she's a plane and possesses immense strength.
    She's extremely protective of those she loves and can sometimes get carried away with her anger. She's also easily startled, as in crack a loud fart and she'll jump three feet in the air. Without vocal cords, she barks, hisses, grunts, and purrs to communicate. Those who know her call her unorthodox sounds 'Claire-speak.' Even though she can no longer speak English, she's still quite expressive. After her first marriage ended disastrously, Claire lived in Key West, Florida until she met and later married a human being. Accepting him as her mate shortly thereafter, Claire wanted to take a stab at motherhood, since her first attempt failed horrifically. Thanks to a donor, she's become pregnant with what appears to be a male A-5. She's very excited and couldn't be happier. 
    With her human husband, she enjoys being stroked on the nose. Because Claire has placed her complete trust in him, no area of her is off limits. She doesn't flinch at her husband's touch. However, if anyone else were to be walking beneath her, its best to keep a hand running along her fuselage or underside of her wing, so she knows exactly where you are.

    The markings on her tail are unique to her family. Every A-5 family has a different tail design, reminiscent of a familial crest. Although she is a military model, and her parents both served abroad, Claire never joined the military herself, being an obsolete design.


(I think Claire came out pretty well. This is the first time I ever drew a pregnant plane, so bear with me.)
